Bobby Kountz, TheEarthHeARTist

Hello, I'm Bobby.

I'm Bobby Kountz, also known as TheEarthHeARTist: a nature-inspired artist, writer, speaker and Certified Morning Altars teacher based in Las Vegas. I draw and sketch, and I build temporary mandalas out of leaves, flowers, sticks, stones, seeds and berries. My art invites people to slow down, follow their curiosity and reconnect with the natural world.

My path into art began after I watched a TEDx talk about drawing. That curiosity grew into sketching, and then into earth art. I went on to study with earth artist Day Schildkret.

Art as a practice

Through my Serenity Altars practice, I bring earth art into conversations about mindfulness and recovery. My own recovery journey shapes this work. I've been clean and sober for more than three decades, and I believe small, consistent steps can turn "someday" into a life in motion.

I'm also a non-combat veteran, a former oncology and hospice nurse, and an active cancer support group facilitator. Sitting with people through hard seasons taught me how much a quiet, creative moment can matter.

The Someday Solution

I'm the author of The Someday Solution: How to Go from Unsure to Unstoppable "One Day at a Time." It's about moving from postponed dreams to action, using creativity and curiosity to build momentum.

Why these prints

Every piece in this shop starts as an original drawing. Each print is made to order from that drawing, with the aim of bringing a bit of the natural world, and a bit of encouragement, into your home.

Together, we are Just One Better.
